Cumulus Indianapolis Raises $188,240 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Two-Day Radiothon

Cumulus Media (NASDAQ: CMLS) announces that Cumulus Media’s Classic Hits station, 104.5 WJJK, and Country station, 95.5 WFMS, in Indianapolis, IN, raised a total of $188,240 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in concurrent two-day radiothons on Thursday, December 7th, and Friday, December 8th, with 104.5 WJJK’s “St. Jude ROCKS Radiothon” and 95.5 WFMS’s “Country Cares for St. Jude Kids.” Presenting sponsor of the radiothons was Peterman Brothers Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, and Electrical Experts.

The radiothons raised funds for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital to support St. Jude patients and families who never receive a bill from St. Jude for the cost of treatment, travel, housing, or food.

New to the fundraising effort this year was 95.5 WFMS’s benefit auction that raised over $2,000 for St. Jude. Special auction items included two cowboy boots that were autographed by over 40 Country artists including Shania Twain, Luke Combs, and Thomas Rhett. Also included in the auction were autographed guitars from Country stars Jelly Roll and Lainey Wilson. The auction raised over $2,000 for St. Jude. This year’s total amount raised was special for the 95.5 WFMS staff because the station has now surpassed $1,000,000 in money raised for St. Jude since the station has been hosting St. Jude Country Cares For Kids Radiothons.
