Disturbing Incident in Houston: Trans Woman Allegedly Runs Over, Kisses, Slits his throat then Stabs Stranger Multiple Times
In a shocking and gruesome case, 20-year-old Karen Fisher is behind bars, accused of running over a man twice and then stabbing him. Fisher appeared in court today for a bond hearing.
The incident occurred in Southeast Houston near I-45. Prosecutors reveal that the victim, 64-year-old Steven Anderson, was walking home when he was attacked by a complete stranger.
Warning: The details of this case are extremely disturbing. Fisher, who is identified in court documents as male, allegedly stole a vehicle and intentionally targeted Anderson, running him over twice. The horrifying event was captured on camera, showing Fisher reversing over Anderson and then crashing into an apartment complex.
The brutality didn’t end there. Prosecutors state that Fisher walked up to Anderson, turned his body over, straddled him, kissed him, and then slit his throat, stabbing him between seven to ten times. After the attack, Fisher simply walked away.
Investigators are still trying to determine the motive behind this horrific act, with mental health and drugs suspected to be factors. There appears to be no prior relationship between Fisher and Anderson, making the attack even more baffling and terrifying.
Fisher is also facing charges for assaulting a nurse while in the hospital, after allegedly kicking the nurse during an attempt to restrain her. Fisher is currently held at Harris County Jail on a $900,000 bond, facing charges of murder, assault, and evading arrest.
The next court hearing is scheduled for July 24th. This case continues to unfold, leaving the community in shock and searching for answers.
