Superadio and Miles Ahead Broadcasting LLC, announces a distribution and advertising sales agreement for national syndication of the “AfroZons” radio show.
The partnership sets a new broadcast standard as the first syndicated radio show to bring Afrobeats, one of today’s most popular new trends in music and culture to the US airwaves.
Produced weekly from the flagship studios at Chicago’s WPWX-FM, “Afrozons” is hosted by multimedia presenter and Grammy Academy member, Sheila O.
The “Afrozons” radio show stands out as the premier destination for a unique blend of Afrobeats and Hip Hop. The playlist is carefully curated to include trending hits in urban music and Afrobeats, a fusion of British House music, Hiplife, Dancehall, Soca, R&B and more.
The show also features contributions from culture-connected and culture-adjacent personalities, providing expert insights and format related features. “AfroZons” targets the prime Adults 18-34 demographic, with a secondary focus on Adults 25-54.
