Today, emerging Atlanta rapper and Gucci Mane protege, Ola Runt, released his sophomore project Beggin For a Body [Front Street/Cinematic Music Group], available on all DSPs now. Due to overwhelming anticipation, Ola released the mixtape early! Stream it HERE and find the tracklist below. Executive produced by Gucci Mane, the project boasts a re-upped version of “Feel Like Guwop” featuring Gucci, with production by Osa Beats. The accompanying Sam Brave-directed visual places Ola and Gucci in trippy, dual-colored surroundings. Complex premiered the video earlier today, stating, “As direct as rap comes, Ola Runt proves why he’s steadily been building buzz with the hard-hitting “Feel Like Guwop.”

Gucci Mane speaks on his mentee, asserting, “Ola Runt the truth. He represents inner-city Atlanta, is young and passionate about his music, and his crew reminds me of my younger self. I was honored to executive produce his mixtape.” Additional features on Beggin For a Body include Trouble, Young Scooter and Nefew. The mixtape is a follow up to Ola’s debut EP Mama Tried, which earned him co-signs from Lil Baby, 21 Savage, Meek Mill, and Southside as well as looks from Complex, HotNewHipHop, HipHopDX, and Pitchfork, who wrote, “Ola Runt’s willingness to experiment establishes him as a force in Atlanta’s new generation.”
